October 17-21, 2023 - Annual Foliage Flight
Every fall, if I can, I like to fly up to Maine to check out the foliage.. The first few times I did it I concentrated on the Maine Atlantic coast because that's what I knew. But last year I had a great time flying up through Vernont and New Hampshire and staying overnight in a little town called Millinocket in central Maine. This year I decided to stay at Millinocket two nights and use it as my base of operations to explore northern Maine.
I find the mid-October is the best time to go, but this year it was raining in Maine then. So I postponed the trip a week. The color may not have been as good as last year but it was still great.
